Osmany García ‘La Voz’ & DJ Conds feat. Brian T & Kiki – “Chupi Night”

By: Juan Navarro

Osmany Garcia is coming straight from Cuba to perform at SOBs on May 24th. His infectious “Chupi Chupi” song has begun to takeover Latin radio stations. I’m a big fan of good Reggaeton, while his lyrics aren’t the best, the rhythm of the song is a great one for the clubs and well, to dance to. Check out the video for this remix below, the song seems to be going international.  Also, if you haven’t done so, you need to get your tickets now : >>> http://www.ticketweb.com/t3/sale/SaleEventDetail?dispatch=loadSelectionData&eventId=4576495

T.I. – “Like That”

By: Juan Navarro

A new T.I. song is always good in my eyes (or ears). The King drops a new one from his 7th upcoming anticipated album “Trouble Man”. It was surpring to hear Kozza say that “this is the only T.I. song he liked” =0 (the slander!!). But this is a dope one, I have a high opinion of  T.I. (he is the King of the South!), and I’ve been a fan of him since I heard “24s”. This one has the sound that you’d be accoustomed to a great T.I. track, including ‘heyy, heyy, hey’ adlibs. Definitely a good one, but not sure if its the lead single, I expect a more radio friendly song for that. Check it out below.

Mickey Factz Presents Mickey MauSe: Taking Pictures of Girls Naked {Scene 7}

Well to be completely honest, I did not even listen to the song a little bit the first time watching this or the second for that matter the video is well, exactly what the title says. No clue how this is still on youtube, by the time this post is done it will probably be off. That being said, the song is really very awesome once you get around to the third time watching this thing. Factz does a really great job blending his hip-hop vibe with a very electronic track. The lights and slow mo in the video really compliment the almost trippy, dreamy, type feel the song gives. Enjoy it while it lasts this is awesome.

Travis Porter drops this new song fromt their upcoming release “From Day 1″, which will be available on May 29th. I can’t say that I’ve been a big fan of their music, but this one is okay. I’m going to have to really give their album a listen though. They will be performing here at SOBs on June 19th, so I’ll get to know their music better. G.O.O.D Music Remix – “I Don’t Like” (Feat. Kanye West, Pusha T, Chief Keef, Big Sean, Jadakiss)

By: Juan Navarro

When I first heard of Chief Keef, I didn’t think much of him.. Now that I hear of him, I still don’t think much of him (sorry, lol). But, the fact that GOOD Music jumped on this track for a monster remix has me listening. This one could be a big anthem for the summer, even though the GOOD Friday series is not in effect, this will have to do for now. The beat is gonna have people bumping their heads at all nightclubs. I gotta give it about two more listens before deciding who had the best verse, but my contenders would be Pusha-T, Kanye West, and Jadakiss. Dope song, give it a listen (thanks to GOOD Music) .

Nas – “Daughters”

By: Juan Navarro

Nas drops his new single from “Life Is Good”, produced by No ID. The track began building buzz for Nas again, as it is what we all want from Nas; the retrospect, the lyricism, and dope beat to hear him spit knowledge. Plus, its a relateable topic, most men who consider themselves players end up with daughters, call that karma. Listen below.

MGK – “Wild Boy” (Remix) feat. 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, Steve-O, Mystikal, French Montana & Yo Gotti

By: Juan Navarro

MGK’s “Wild Boy” gets the remix treatment that includes almost everyone that performed at SXSW this year. There are a few artist who I think fit perfect for the song. 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, and Mystikal all served up the right energy, while I don’t believe French Montana and Yo Gotti added much to the song. This does seem to have been a fun video too shoot. MGK also delivers a new verse but I think he should have had Waka Flocka on this remix also (in my opinion). Anyways, the video does have a funny intro, so its worth at least one look. (Did I mention a cameo by Steve-O?)
